Another person was severely injured in the accident and is currently undergoing treatment. Other passengers have not sustained any injury, police stated.

Police Inspector Murari Mishra said the Kathmandu-bound (Na 4 Kha 6401) bus might have skidded off the road after it lost control along the slippery road.

Further investigation into the case is underway, inspector Mishra added.
